The Long Walk

Set in a dystopian, post-war America, "The Long Walk" follows 50 teenage boys who volunteer for an annual, televised endurance contest where they must maintain a steady pace of three miles per hour without stopping. Overseen by a totalitarian regime led by "The Major," the rules are absolute: any walker who slows down or stumbles receives three warnings before being summarily executed by military guards. As the grueling journey stretches across hundreds of miles and several days, the boys face extreme physical agony and psychological collapse, forming desperate bonds while knowing that only one can survive to claim the ultimate prize of a lifelong wish and immense wealth.
